About Me
I'm Yana
I have been painting for as long as I can remember. Art runs in my blood—my grandmother and mother are both painters, always seeking to capture something beyond what the eye can see. Inspired by their work, I began creating art as a way to explore both myself and God.
For many years, I searched for God in all the wrong places, and my art reflected that journey—pieces filled with longing, questions, and the desire for something greater. But everything changed in 2022 when I became a Christian. That was the moment my art took on a new life—it became an expression of worship, a way to draw closer to Jesus and to understand His Word on a deeper level.
As I grew in my faith, I discovered the sozo healing process—originally developed by Bethel Church—which helped me explore art as both a healing practice and a form of worship. Experiencing God’s presence transformed everything in my life. Since then, I’ve had the honor of painting live during church services and even incorporating worship through music.
I work with a variety of materials—oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, chalk, pastels—sometimes separately, sometimes together in mixed media. Lately, my focus has been on acrylic paintings on paper, creating a new collection that I pray gives people a glimpse of heaven and draws them closer to the heart of the Father.
Art, for me, is an extension of God’s own creativity. His beauty is beyond words, reflected in creation itself. As beings made in His image, we continue that creative link—expressing beauty, love, and His holy presence through the work of our hands. The more I worship Him, the more I am transformed by His beauty and His Word. This is what I was made for. And so were you.
I would love for you to explore my work and find a piece that speaks to your soul. Feel free to browse my gallery, reach out for commissions, or follow me on social media to see my latest creations.
